Dead at Daybreak

Hey, everyone! Today, I will talk about my novel "Dead at Daybreak". Firstly I want to say I was struggling with writing this blog. Because I was having some issues reading my novel, as I haven't had a lot of free time to read. Because I have had a lot of tests lately, but I have read a bit know and I want to share some of it with you guys. So I learnt a bit about van Heerden and I think this is why he does what he does. He gives us descriptions and the characters themselves in the first few chapters. We meet Zatopek van Heerden, a former cop turned private investigator, thrust into a case involving a missing person and a mysterious manuscript. The story jumps past and present, slowly revealing the layers of mystery around the disappearance of rugby player Corrie du Plessis. His characters are imperfect yet intriguing and lend much to the story. Well, my forecast for the future is that we will go much deeper into the past of Corrie du Plessis and what happened to make him disappear. In my reading, it looks like corruption, betrayal, and hidden agendas lie in wait in this novel, and I would love to
